Update 2- It begins...

Violeta (Far left) with the Family of this project.
Hey thanks for checking in.

Helping my daughter get back from Indiana this past week (long drive) and was presently surprised to receive some messages, videos and images from Violeta.  For two days they traveled around buying materials.   These homes are built with pressure treated homes, no cement from my understanding.
Within two days they had made some great progress.  I am really excited to see it going so well.  I am not sure they were used to being filmed and was really glad to see the tall guy step in and save the day! :)
I love the music and dearly wish I were there to help.  However, if I were to be bare foot and on that beam the video would probably go viral as I would epically fall immediately from a sliver or for just being wimpy footed.
Posts are set and rafters are in. Probably not up to code in the US, but standard carpentry in Iquitos!
They are well on the way.  Thanks again to you for support past and present.  Every penny matters and leads to helping families like this move out of poverty and smile in the process. Muchas Gracias!   Stay tuned for more.  If you want to be involved in our next building project, cost is typically $1500 US Dollars, email me anthony@btgperu.com or simply click the donate button at the bottom or top of this page.
