As a United States approved 501 C3, Bridge the Gap remains in compliance with approved accounting and IRS requirements. We obtain a 3rd party external annual audit
We reserve the right to use up to 10% of donations to compensate local directors and their associates because without them, there would be no support given to these individuals or families.

100% of Family Sponsorships go to the families.
WHY...
We seek to have funding give the greatest impact possible.
EDUCATION, SUPPORT, PROJECTS
100% of monthly donations go toward other programs, projects and educational support.
0% of monthly donations pay local directors and their associates to carry out the duties necessary to have sustainable outcomes. These costs are covered by BTG President Anthony Thomsen.
Bridge the Gap requires an additional 20% of any funds donated to help an individual outside of the BTG program. This supports local out of the United States operational costs.
WHY...
We value ethics. It is not realistic for any organization to exist without paying those who are having a direct impact. It is not an option to ask directors to work for nothing. Because of some bad apples in the Non Profit world in the past, there was an emphasis on 100% of funds going to the child or family. Those days need to be over,.
