BABIES & MOMS (Bebés con esperanza)
SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND WELL BEING CHECKS
Bebes Con Esperanza is a program for pregnant mothers and their infants living in the Punchana District of Iquitos. Started in February 2017, it currently includes 10 mother/infants. Infant death during the first year is very high. This program provides critical medical resources, health education with doctors twice a month,, basic nutritional needs, early mother hood parenting, needed baby supplies hygiene items, and mentoring /emotional support to new mothers. BTG has hired two local doctors to administer the educational and nuturing aspects to the program. Your donation will save the life of a child! Give Here.. .

When families can not obtain food, local directors and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure no one goes hungry. Some families make such little money they do not have the ability to buy the food they need. By providing food, families gain hope and greater opportunities for health, well being and financial empowerment.

Our goal is to bridge the gap of poverty in Iquitos and beyond. This program currently identifies, assesses and provides support to families in the district of Punchana so that opportunities for health and wellness, financial freedom and education are available.

You can schedule your trip as an individual, family or small group.
Accommodations are based on your needs and desires. We aim to make rest enjoyable so you have more energy during your stay. Trip also includes airfare, insurance, meals an amazon river trip, visit a local village as well as many other attractions in the Iquitos area.
Additional trips to other places in Peru, like Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain can be scheduled as well for an additional cost.
Total Cost Per Person typically ranges from $1800 per person, not including current air fair rates to Iquitos Peru. A 50% refundable deposit is required if we schedule your flights for you. Once the air fare is paid for a refund would not be possible.
